Wicky,

I thought the S wheels would look great on the Volvo! I still do, but it ain't gonna happen.

James,

Is the FP still back home? Man, you sure get around, James! Hey, what are you doing postgrad? Is it law? Maybe if you do auto maintenance you can come out here and save my ass!

:feels slapped most bitchily:

:knows it's well deserved:

Hey Charlie, sorry to hear about your mishap. I guess shit happens. I hope it all works out for you. What was the fun police's reaction to al this?

I've made lots of mistakes that I can blame only myself for, and I know the feeling. I guess we can only hope we learnt something from our mistake and stop it from happening again.

The fun police's reaction... I'm still not too sure, Jack. Let's put it this way -- she wasn't exactly falling over with sympathy. But, hey, at least I'm getting some great support from my buds here in the Corner!!!!

Anyway, there's no way I'll ever change a tire again without remembering this experience. You can be sure I'll never make the same mistake again. I guess the good part of this is that it happened in a place where I wasn't at too much risk of getting hurt.

(gotta try to work that one out with my boss !!) I seen to travel a lot sometimes and then go months without any travel ..... but the more work stuff I do, the more airmiles I get (which is how I am paying for the Vegas flight !! )

The post grad is in contract law and arbitration ... probably not much help for keeping wheels on cars ..... but I should know who to sue when one comes off
Super, James. Maybe I can sue myself for a big settlement.

That's great that the airmiles will pay for the Vegas trip.

Make sure you buy/make something very nice for the FP if you're away on the birthday.

Well in fact I was considering whether you could sue your wife for negligence for not stopiing you from changing the tyres, even though she knows your mental limits , but givin the husband/wife relationship, I don' think that there would be any benefit to you ......

What, you think I'm going to take the credit for such a brilliant idea?
