The CIA is recruiting for a top new counterterrorist position.
They've narrowed the field to three guys: one 25 year old, one 35, and one 45. The interviewer hands the 25 year old guy a pistol and says "Here's your final and untimate test of your loyalty to the agency. You're wife's in the next room. Go in there and shoot her." The guy goes in the other room, comes back, and says "I can't do it." The interviewer hands the pistol to the 35 year old guy with the same instructions. The guy goes in the other room, comes back shaking his head, and says "I've got two kids. I can't do it." The interviewer hands the pistol to the 45 year old guy with the same instructions. The guy goes in the other room. The interviewer hears the sound of gunfire, then a struggle, then choking and gasping, followed bt a thud. The guy comes back and says "Some son of a bitch put blanks in that gun. I had to strangle her."
