I'm afraid that we have not yet established a board. Submit an application for a permit and proper fees to the committee. If the committee is in agreeance, they will make a recommendation to the council to apoint members to the board. The board will then have power to veto all votes made by the council and evoke emergency action against the council in times of crisis.
Do you still want a board?*
*Submit your answer to the committee with proper response fees.

Of COURSE I want a board...EVERYONE needs a board.
Ummm...what's a board?

I agree with using James' card.
I'm sure he'd agree it's a worthy cause, he can probably write it off anyway.
I nominate Brant for some kind of leadership position. A guy with his background can't not be in a role of importance.

Submit your application for a permit to nominate, along with proper fees, to the committee.
Brant, I'm afraid that in instant that you forwarded the motion to the council to elect a board, a board was indeed elected. The board then unanimously vetoed your forwarding motion to have a board elected, thus negating your motion as well as themselves. THese are the dangers of having a board. Any applications for a permit to complain should be submitted with proper fees to the committee.

No... the board never got to vote on the tropical island because the first thing on the agenda was whether or not to elect a board. There is a system in place and the board agreed to follow that system. If you don't aprove, please submit an application for a permit to disapprove along with proper fees to the committee for consideration.
I am hereby using my authority as a member of the committee to mandate (not request or open for debate) that all further fees shall simply be billed directly to James' credit card.
