Hey Cubic, I sure hope you don't think there's some negative tone in our conversation. It's actually refreshing to finally talk to someone about cars. There aren't many these days that even know how to change their oil!

No, DUDE!! Absolutely not!!! I love talking cars w/ people, hearing their perspectives/experiences. That's how actual useful knowledge is exchanged. I also do it to quell horrible inaccuracies. You wouldn't believe the kind of bullsh*t that gets passed along as fact on forums and public conversations (I'll have to tell you about our experiences some time).

Actually, your best bet would be to pull a racing head from a 4-banger race engine (the kind w/ individual throttle bodies & injectors feeding tunnel runners-max velocity). Match it w/ a Motec or race computer. Then you'd have a race-engine. Then that is one bada$$ S2K (no longer streetlegal but bada$$!).

Alex, hopefully, we won't all get arrested for that meeting if you know what I mean!

That's what I like about this forum. It's very informal and you can ask questions about anything. My dad has his own shop and fixes cars for a living. So he knows how they work. Having a shop is also beneficial cuz we can do our own work (ie. our SC install). Just this passed weekend we did a SuperCharger install on a viper.

Honestly, I don't know porting and polishing the heads will make that much of a difference (10 hp maybe?). And then there's the cost. P&P heads is expensive (esp. w/ our cars!). Let us know what he gets out of it!
