Yeah, but it's not that big a deal. The brand of charger he got was only supposed to bump the car up 125 hp. One owner in the Viper Club up here has the Hennessey Venom package on his car (675 hp!!-and that's NORMALLY ASPIRATED!!). Then there's another owner (former chapter pres.) w/ a twin (yes, twin)-supercharger on his viper and it's intercooled! Supposedly he gained over 200 hp.

 

Only the dyno will tell us if it will make anything. Alaniz seems confident in the head, and they have a really good track record with honda heads.......I'm not worried about the cost..... They've already gotten the head to flow more air, so it's a matter turning flow into power....

We took pics of the install. It wasn't our camera though so I'll see about getting them posted. I don't have a digicam yet so I'll work on getting pics of the aforementioned club owners' cars.

 

A twin-blown Viper couldn't break 700hp?

Either way, that's more power than we'll realistically ever need - but it's nice to know it's there, esp. when that $350k Lambo is hounding you from behind!

exactly, I don't know if the porting has slowed the air down..... but like I said, I'm confident in Alaniz's experience the honda heads and hope they can make this work. Could require some fine tuning on the intake runners.....
