Corona Virus ( not a joke )
You have to keep your wits about you as I can see after going back to work how easy it can be to be nonchalant about the whole pandemic, staying in and watching the news it is always on your mind but when you go back to a normal routine like work life can almost seem to be back to normal again but you have to remember it is not. I also notice there are still people out there who think this is all overblown (I am not one of them) i wear my mask when i'm out and only go to the grocery store and post office as needed and work other than that i stay in even with things opening up. We are still overun with New yorkers here and other out of state people so things are way more crowded than they usually are this time of year.
Apparently BC has done much better than other provinces at flattening the curve but I’m not totally sure we should be loosening some of the stuff that’s planned for mid-May. I agree with the medically-related stuff: dentists, RMTs etc. However, they’re also allowing the retail sector to reopen. It’s going to be risky because a lot of people here are already not adhering to physical distancing and no one seems to know proper hand hygiene.
And of course provincial parks will open for day use but not for camping until AFTER the long weekend.
For the most part I’m going to minimize my going out. If another wave hits I don’t want to contribute to it.

It should be fairly simple as I still see the signs saying, "no shirt, no shoes, no service", just add "no mask" to the list. Without getting political, unless someone says everyone needs to wear masks they won't. The MI governor has said masks should be worn, but should leaves doubt. Remove the doubt, say masks are required and any business can turn anyone away for not wearing one.
We have laws to protect us all around, this isn't any different as far as I can tell. Social distancing works to an extent, but masks should be the new norm for now.
