Exclamation Corona Virus ( not a joke )

SO everyone ( well most ) has somehow been affected by this and thought maybe having a spot to talk about it might be helpful

I being an elder do hope to not contract it since the FLU usually does me in quite severly only wonder how this thing would

YES we may be missing out on EVENTS or using our FAVORITE TP butt hEY I think its for the best and maybe just CHILL people

I purchased months ago tickets for my Daughter-in-Law who likes Rob Lowe to go see his LIVE show here. Doubt thats gonna happen now.
Butt yeah she certainly will get a REPLACEMENT gift

As for the stores being WIPED OUT on TP dunno bout that butt. < trying to coax a smile on your faces

Lets all do what we need or can to help everyone get thru this thing!

Agree. While I think at times we are overreacting, my exposure to it isn't the issue. It's the exposure I have to my parents, in-laws, and others who would be compromised.

Be safe out there everyone. Let the be strong.

In our county, we have 66 cases, and one death. It's a pretty legitimate hot zone. We're being asked to work from home from now until the end of the month. We have enough TP until then, I think. However, after that. . .

Thats the big thing. Too many people are just blowing it off completely as "well the flu is way worse and I am healthy". First, there is zero evidence the flu is worse (And experts are already totally dismissing that claim) since the flu has millions of strains, is already widespread, etc. We have just seen the start of this one so you cannot say the flu is worse at all (and we DONT have a vaccine for this like we do the flu). Second, the folks taking zero precautions are more likely to spread it to more vulnerable people who cannot fight it off. So we have one purely selfish group of people who want to minimize it because their vacations and travel plans are more important to them then peoples health, and another group of people who are in pure panic mode on the other side. hopefully both sets of those nutjobs do not get too much in the way of the rational thinking people

I am blessed in that I can work from home as much as I want for the most part. But I have been going to the office. But, our office has 4-8 people tops in it at a time, and if anyone feels sick (even before this started) they just work from home already since they know they will not get yelled at for it. Small startups run by a bunch of engineering geeks are nice that way!

And just to be safe, after 4pm I usually have a glass of rum on my desk before I go home.. you know ... to disinfect myself! lol

Nice! One of my guitars and my tiny practice amp are behind me in my office. I hang out after work and play here somtimes. Need to play a lot more for sure.

I was a skater all through highschool and college and still mess around on one (but do a LOT more snowboarding these days) and our office manager one night when we were talking about it at the bar decided we should all have tech decks so she ordered them for the office :P I am about 90% sure I am building a miniramp in my back yard to get back into some level of skating (and will enjoy the neighbors pointing and talking about the 44 year old guy playing on a skateboard). I totally miss it and snowboarding just makes me miss it more!

So yeah, work situation kinda rocks right now. cool group of very smart people!
