Corona Virus ( not a joke )
I've rented a house for 2 weeks in Houston near my parents and my brother for next month. Haven't seen them since spring break last year, so a visit is happening. No summer vacation camping trip this year which bums us out, but since there's no telling what is open/closed it's silly to try.
had to resist hugging them up but I did
We ate & mostly sat out back and just having them there was fun
C-6 of course took advantage of the MAN power to do a couple chores

Good news Spider
I will get another
visit next month so looking forward to that
We still have that res I made way back for Zion in August so that might still happen

I am feeling much better finally so we just C-6 & I may get the RV and go to Silverwood Lake ( bout 45 mins drive ) for a couple nights, we know the spot that we like and its on the END so not people on each side. Lots of space to walk / hike around and keep distance easily too
1st time actually going into the Grocery Store to shop
felt strange but it wasn't crowded & I of course had my mask on so I felt fairly ok
quickly knocked out my list & got to say hey to my clerk
who I hadn't seen in so long

I went to a restaurant for the first time yesterday. Not doing that again for awhile. I realize we’re not in a highly populated area but we are a hub so lots of people pass through town. Anyway physical distancing is a joke and because of the new cleaning process, combined with staff who are adjusting, eating out is a time sucker.

RIGHT there with ya LG

we did a take out order from Casa Trejo
who most of you momBBQ attendees have been to, C-6 went in to pay etc and there were many people in the bar
yes they did get the ok to open but still like you said no distances what so ever and while I realize your not gonna be able to eat or drink wearing a mask it still seems silly to rush back to these situations
IMOHe waited outside for the order & the gal brought it out to him
I think Mandy and I are going to go to Ray's Boathouse, they opened their outdoor patio Friday and even if it's a little dense we feel comfortable being outside. But the indoor restaurants are just... no way.
The hockey rinks and leagues are all trying to figure out how to open ASAP. But the thought of playing hockey is kinda nuts. Indoors, 20-30 people all exercising and breathing hard, and I know for certain a non trivial number of players and refs are definitely in the "masks are for pussies" crowd that's going out to bars.

I took my dad out to a sit down inside restaraunt this weekend and the social distancing was good but obviously you have to take your mask off to eat so that is not so good.
I noticed in Rhode Island everyone had a mask on and I didn't hear much talk about wearing or not wearing a mask but here in vt it seems to be a big thing and a lot of people aren'tb wearing masks.
