I have never wanted to nab an OOOOOOSKY in here but think this one will go out to all the families , people who have lost someone due to Covid

Have you and Skip had your second shots yet? We get ours (Moderna) Thursday and Friday next week. I'll be glad to get it over.

 

Also we got covid tests this morning (going on a road trip and will be staying with a friend, just wanted to make sure), really enjoy the nasal swab.

SO to answer your ? I had mine as noted a few posts back on Wednesday and had 2 bad days ( Pfizer )
C-6 is at the mark of able to get his 2nd on the 15th but it looks like the County invites are about a week or two behind so not sure which day his will be soon though

Lemme know how you 2 do with your 2nd? My Sis-in-Law & Hubby got their 2nd doses of Moderna today so I'm waiting to see how they do.

When I was sick back in may the Dr was so nice as he was evaluating me trying to figure out WTH was causing my symptoms
I thanked him and he said your not gonna thank me when we go outside after & I give you a Covid Test

I think even KNOWING what its like it would still be unable to soften the blow

 

In the summer I had a wicked multi-day migraine and of course because I had a headache and nausea they had to test me. Didn't make the headache any better.

 

Amazing how quickly things can change. My age group is scheduled for a first vaccination in July. But I was just hired for another part time gig and today I was invited to their staff vaccination clinic! Got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine about 2 hours ago and so far no side effects. Surely something's coming though.

The part time gig is somewhere I worked previously and I've really missed everyone. It was fantastic to see them today - a morale booster for sure! ...It's kind of just hitting me that I'll soon be able to expand my "bubble" and how good that feels! For me, it finally feels like there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
