Yeah that is like 2 hours from me ? I've never been there, but heard of that place as they have some kind of stoveworks place and a leather outlet if I recall.

Ha! Cool. I lived in London for 20 years - worked for Bell - and moved to California 25 years ago.

Cher… why did I think you were from Barrie?

Hey no problem little WOP buddy.

I got the Gozney RoccBox, it is well made and portable. I have to do the propane powered versions as I just don't have the patience to burn wood. Gas is cleaner and quicker and it has been bullet proof in 2 years of use. With most ovens you can get them as multi-fuel (wood pellets and gas). I have been very happy with mine. Sometimes you can find them on sale with some accessories tossed in. They have some good pricing on right now. I have posted a pic of mine below of the Roccbox. They have larger models if you want to spend more too. The Gozney Dome is very cool but I didn't want to spend that much, but it is awesome for a larger sized oven that is more permanent in terms of installation. The Roccbox has been good for us and is still portable. I wish I got the carry bag with it to transport it around. I take it outside to use it, then we bring it in as I don't have a covered area in my yard. See Gozney link below.

Ooni also has some nice ovens , and there are some other manufacturers out there with good designs too, it depends on how much you want to spend if how portable you want them. I had the Ooni Koda 12 but found it a bit small, it was a good introductory oven but the Ooni 16 is a better way to go for size, and they also have the multi-fuel versions which are a nice size but more pricey.

WOP WOP Paisan Dago all works for me

Ok now I remember, I was thinking you had an Ooni
So I was looking at Ooni but yesterday ran down to the desert where C-6 got his 2nd built into the island gas grill they have nice stuff and I remembered seeing some there. They are ALFA 's

looked @ this ONE [ pun intended ] I really like the look of them.
Wood is less $ than Gas / Propane I'm not huge on smoke taste in meat anyways butt maybe on pizza it would be ok C-6 has a Traeger and a Green Egg so we do produce smoke at times neighbors don't seem to mind.
1 factor is I'm gonna wanna take it with when we move someday so not wanting a hUge one.

Tanks for the info & I'll letcha know if we pull the trigger

Gina, that looks awesome, very nice, made in Italy too. I love it. It is much more high-end that I have ever owned but I'd love one. I had one Ooni but the Gozney Roccbox is my current on. The Gozney is super portable , I take it in an out on every use, and you can even take it to the park or beach or camping easily.

I just don't want to mess with wood and the ash to clean up, and ash can go into the food, plus I don't need smoke flavour on my food. The key to the wood oven pizzas is the heat generated to cook pizza a certain way very quickly - 90 seconds or so. The wood itself doesnt do much more than that, as long as the heat is there, and the propane versions will generate the heat. A hybrid version can use wood and propane, I have been happy with the propane powered versions.

That looks like a great oven, I have no idea of the price , I like the Nano version they offer, it seems like a nice size. Gozney offers a dome version of outdoor pizza oven which may be around $1,900 , that is pretty good quality, but the Alfas are super nice. I'd love one.
