Meteorite is great and dazzles my grands. I have a small silk bag that they call, “The Interesting Bag”, and pretty much as soon as I arrive they ask, “Grandad, do you have the Interesting Bag?” They get stories about all my ‘treasures’. My acheulean hand axe, fulgurite, and rattlesnake rattle are also big hits.
Sometimes by some sort of trickery larger items make it into the interesting bag. Two weeks ago - just in time for Halloween (when my grandson was going as Frankenstein’s monster and his dad was Dr F) - this was in the Interesting Bag. :-)
