Don't get me wrong though, I *will* buy an S2000 (or one of its successors) eventually. I'm just not sure if I'm ready for it now.

Straight up, Jack. As with most things in life, admitting one's weaknesses is half the battle.

Personally, I'd have to agree that the housing situation is more important than the car, Jack.

Hehe, I find it rather amusing that the "Everybody feel sorry for 'I dream of S'' thread has become an "Everybody feel sorry for Jack" thread.

[oink] IMHO the S2000 is certainly not a good car to learn to drive RWD in. I think that the car urges you to drive faster and faster and it can be very difficult to hold back from those temptations. I also think that it has a bit of a sting in its tail and will sting you hard if you push on too far ....... not the best for someone learning to handle this type of car .....[/oink]

Wow! Just glad you are OK Jack. Hope things work out well for you.

This is my first RWD car BTW. I've made a few mistakes, but I constanly test this cars limits in safe areas like parking lots just to help get the feel. As long as you show it the respect it deserves, it's not so bad. I respect your decision on a condo though. Good stuff. :thumbup
