Face Book
Something I forgot to touch on that Monica alluded to is this notion that people can seem excited to share news like this. Totally hear ya on that and am equally disgusted. Yes, people like for others to see they were among the first to know "breaking" information or are somehow connected to something dramatic. Yes, people want to show they have a connection to others. And sometimes that results in people making someone's death more of a show than an actual expression of grief. That's the stuff I have a problem with.
I agree that if it weren't facebook I would have no idea about the accident, and sometimes I feel like facebook is like the new local news paper... It keeps me up on general local news, obituaries, and new babies
I won't be leaving it, but am irked by some people on there
I believe everyone else here have his own Facebook account. Well no doubt, checking it and browsing some new posts most of the time. Just like me, I can't get enough to read and share new information and photos that interest me. However, be careful too of adding new friends because hackers are all around trying to get important and personal details about you. Check on your privacy settings too for your safety.
