Well, if I recall correctly, what I heard was there's a big subset of people on the Internet to whom the Internet and Facebook are synonymous.

They get on the Internet just to get on Facebook. So they open up their browser, and the first thing they see is a search box, so they type in Facebook.com, and this takes them to Facebook and they are happy.
