A spill of 55 gallons of perchloroethylene directly into unpaved medium-grained silty soil would result in a plume of contaminations with what lateral and vertical dimensions?

The Doc says:

The amount of wood that a woodchuck could indeed chuck, provided that the woodchuck can in fact chuck wood, is directly proportional to difference between the amount of wood available to chuck vs. the amount of existing wood having allready been chucked vs. the woodchucks' woodchucking potential. see equation below...

Woodchuck = WC
Wood chucked = WCv1
Wood available to be chucked = WA/pp1
Wood velocity = Wv

WC+WC/WC-WC= x+1- WCv1 X Wv =

answer:

woodchucks between 0-3yrs: 1.62 cord/day
4-6 yrs: 1.39777 cord/day
7+ yrs: woodchucking exempt

The Doc says:

The vertical dimensions are irrelavant due to gravity returning all spilled liquid (eventually) to the lateral plane. Vertical plane contamination from spilled liquid in a vertcal trajectory should be minimal due to the brief time elapse, however, a more severe vertical contamination would result from the lenghty exposure of the spilled liquid remaining on the lateral plane. This, of course, is inversely proportional to the evaporation rate of the spilled liquid, as well as ground saturation, and length of time before an authorized hazardous material handling team is dispatched to contain said spill. Depending on the severity of fines that OSHA would then impose, and leftover funds for environmental impact, and long-term damage control, the answer you seek is:

a plume roughly 1416% the size of my ex-wife large ass.

...of course, prevailing winds and current temperaturs may vary the resulting area by 1-7%.
