i never thought i'd like nike clubs either, but i've heard they are supposidly pretty forgiving... I need forgiving... I'm not good enough to hit blades, and I definitely can't find the sweetspot on some of the "player" clubs.. I was thinking about picking up some old x16's (new i think they run like $399 or $499)... slingshots i heard are pretty forgiving, and hmm.. I'm not sure about what else.

I used to be a decent golfer... when I was 17 or 18. mid 40s for 9 (rarely golfed 18 since I usually golfed weekdays since it was half as expensive). My game fell to shit in college and slid from 40s to 60s. I picked up a wicked slice that I couldn't correct, lost about 30 good balls in 5 rounds, and gave it up. That's my story

i went from shooting mid 80's low 90's to high 90's right now
last three years, i've golfed 3 times.... this year i'm trying to make a more conscious effort to golf....
