Though if someone wanted to give me a Shelby Daytona Coupe, I wouldn't say no...

Okay, you totally acknowledged EVERYONE's suggestions and ignored my comments!

YOu know I take things personally!!

I'm w/Jeff on the m coupe if it's in the ballgame, still one of my fav. cars and I WILL have one one day.

any interest in an acura CL-S?

GTI's are too over priced, imo.

and boo on your for not liking Evo's...BEST car I've ever had!!!!

Yeah, like I EVER actually ignore you, sweetie...

You're right that the M5 is pricey...but it's sweet. Cooper S...I still contemplate it. Just not sure. Almost too many of the damned things on the road...

GTIs are pricey, but have a nice look and feel for the segment. I like them, but not sure I "feel" one in my future.

You and I have always agreed on the M Shoe. Sweet, silly little car! I'll search more when the house is closer to selling...

I don't know what it is...I've never been an Evo fan. I like the IDEA...but just don't like them like I should. I'm glad you like yours, though!

Not an NSX fan. Great cars...not my style.
F355...hmmm. I have NO idea what the maintenance costs are, but I fear they're probably a tad stiffer than a Lotus. That said, sounds like an interesting DD...
LOVE the M Shoe!
Hate the Cayenne. Wouldn't drive one if someone GAVE it to me...

Love your thinking, though. I appreciate the broad views on cars in the Corner and look forward to any suggestions...
Most of the maintenance for the F355 invariably involves dropping the rear subframe... needless to say it's expensive. You would probably do enough miles that you need a major ("30K") service every other year, and that would be $5-10k.

The 360 is way better for maintenance (oil changes are actually doable without a lift ). But obviously way more expensive up front.

I was going to throw out the upcoming FT86, but Monica beat me to the punch.
