Help Brant pick a new Miata
No new cars just yet. Still pondering...and open to suggestions.
I think I want either a compellingly fun/quirky car or a better power-to-weight ratio than the Miata.
I love convertibles, but not sure that I NEED to have one right now. If I keep the Miata, though, I DO want to fix the top so I can run without the hardtop most/all of the time. I only like the hardtop right now because of the back window when the top has to be up. My soft top window is DESTROYED...
Wish I could have a glass rear window...but they don't work with my current rollbar.
Oh...if I get a convertible other than my car, it HAS to have a glass rear window...

Fantastically ridicoulous not to to credit the Miata with being a *great* car. Anyone who's really driven a car would think it's fantastic. Anyone who's really driven a Miata would *know* it.
I'm not being kind to Brantly, (he's a big baby-girl) it's just a good car. Granted largely driven by ladies, it's a good... no great, car. If you don't know this, drive one.
If you still disagree, I'll arrange to have three of my friends pass you regularly in theirs while you drive your S.
Seriously
(okay they have race prepped Specs) ;-)

There is so much room to personalize them for looks AND performance and the aftermarket for this car is not only huge, but a lot of it is quite well sorted out stuff.
My primary reason for wanting to investigate a replacement is that I'm faced with dumping a significant amount of money into the car to make it more what I'd like to own at this point. If I'm going to consider spending that sort of money, it makes sense to look at alternatives...
And, yes, I can tend to seem like a baby-girl from time to time...
