Talking to me about cars is dangerous. I have varied tastes...but love cars with character and/or soul.
This too is my conundrum. . . but my cheapness is a heavily mitigating factor.

Impossible to find one that hasn't been either chopped, molested, or is so cherry, I can't afford it.

These are just a few suggestions for entertaining weekend drivers...
You and I agree violently. . . except on that whole price issue.

There again, I'm not selling my condo either.

(If I did, )

Oops...I missed the cheap part and focused on the weekend part (ie; reliability not as much of a factorr)...

I don't think we DISAGREE on the price thing...I think I just didn't (and don't) understand what the price ceiling IS...

Probably $20K - fun, low, no sweat
$20K-$25K - would have to give it some thought.
$35K-$40K - would have to warrant be my only car
$85K-$190K - would warrant selling the condo
$190K+ - sell the condo, and consider living on Bologna and Cheerios
