The other option would be a standard Mini Cooper S with engine and suspension work. The GP has 217hp and a modded suspension already. It has no back seat (saves 120lbs). The downside is that you can get a regular Cooper S for less than $20k and the GP is $27k or so. The upside is that you get pretty much what you'd get if you dumped $7-10k into a Cooper S all sorted out from the factory...

 

The JCW has a warranty too.

 

It's tempting for my next vehicle. Although, the S is clearly at the top of my list.

While I really like the Mini and the Fit at the end of the day your still in a FWD That has to get old with time.. Not saying you shouldnt get the Mini but somehting to over
