Help Brant pick a new Miata
The other option would be a standard Mini Cooper S with engine and suspension work. The GP has 217hp and a modded suspension already. It has no back seat (saves 120lbs). The downside is that you can get a regular Cooper S for less than $20k and the GP is $27k or so. The upside is that you get pretty much what you'd get if you dumped $7-10k into a Cooper S all sorted out from the factory...
