We just broke 10K this past weekend (had the car since 9/99). You should compare the '02 and '00. The fit and finish on the '00 are better. I noticed that on the '02 they replace trim components and door handles w/ cheaper plastic crap. Some of the leather trim looks cheaper on the 02 as well. But you do get door tweeters and a clock! 
I prefer out '00. No problems with it yet (even after installing our mods. the SC has 5K miles on it!).

My running shopping list is done in order of miles on the car (I figure the fewer the better) but that one is on my list 
right now I have 3 MY '00, 3 MY'01, and one Suzuka Blue '02 on the list
