chicken pot pie, almost home made, nothing crazy but it filled me up. My weekend eating habits are erratic for some reason.

Two-bite brownies from Whole Paycheck. . . These are as good as the original ones.

Shwarmas with fatoush salad, good enough for the end of week dinner. No cooking tonight.

I scarfed down a ton of Torrone , it is a soft white nougat with raw nuts in it, and a bit of thin wafer coating. The ones I got had almonds and hazelnuts, and one with dried fruit. It is an Italian dessert treat, they have some hard versions that will break your teeth, but I like the soft kind only. I only eat it once a year so I pig out on it and then have enough it.

I had a slice of Panatonne , basically an Italian sweet bread. We get the ones with lemon creme on the inside, very fresh , I could not hold out until Christmas and got my fill early. They can be a hit or miss, but this one was really fresh and delish.
