I love Canadians!
And, no, this is not another thread of me just fawning over Lesley (though that's not so bad, either).
I'm just thinking about the various official interactions that I have had with both the media and the government of Canada and how extraordinarily pleasant those interactions have been.
My first was with CBC (Canadian Broadcasting) a couple months ago. We were working on an interview and every interaction I had with anyone from CBC was so incredibly polite and easy and genuine that it was like a fantasy world. Surely it had to be an isolated event...because no country could raise people to be THAT polite, could they?
Well, I just got off the phone with the Canadian Embassy in DC and they were equally as easy and pleasant to interact with as CBC.
Add to that the list of personal contacts that I have had with Canadians over the years from high school to the "local" Vancouver S2000 owners to, you guessed it, our very own Lesley and I have to admit that there must be something in the water in Canada that makes the people so incredibly wonderful.
For any Canadians out there that might be reading this, I just want to say thank you and you should be very proud of yourselves and your country.
There, I feel better now.

You're very welcome, Lesley. So, is there something in the water up there or do they teach you in school how to be such good ambasadors for your country?!
I've spent a LOT of time around expatriots from various countries and Canadians are the most impressive by far. Whatever they do in Canada to achieve this behavior I truly wish they would try here in the US...
