Thanks Brant... those 12 hours a week in school practicing manners and elocution have paid off. It's nice to hear.
Happily it's not rare to hear an American praise Canadians.
[rant=on}To Luke's (very valid) point... there is sometimes a Canadian smugness... very sad and not warranted. Canadians need to be proud of themselves (ourselves) and the wonderful Canadian culture. It's important that first they realize the Canadian culture is real and not just being NOT American.[/rant}
I love Canada. I love being Canadian. I love my new life here in the US. Americans have an honesty and a hospitality that is new to me.

Mr. Edwards, you are quite welcome. I wouldn't worry too terrilby much about any possible Canadian smugness, because it is FAR and away eclipsed by American arrogance...
