Don't think there's any risk of that. I grew up around the US military most of my life and have no issue with the use of force when it's called for.

Although, I must agree with you on the Canuck thing... My canuck experiences:

Jr year of high school, fishing in western Ontario: Young couple from Thunder Bay, a group of guys from some little town north of TB, and some old guy named Norm who drank and fished for a living. All really nice people. Norm drank a case of Labatts every day. He also had ancestral rights to fish with a net. Maybe that's why nobody else could catch anything

Senior year of HS, at Michigan Int'l Raceway: Group of about 20 Canadians. Only half actually had race tickets. They all drank a lot, and were all really nice, and extremely polite.

Sept 2001, Cherohala Skyway (Southern TN, western NC): Aside from the guy on the side of the road with a concussion and a broken shoulder, great guys all around. Very sympathetic regarding the WTC/Pentagon thing, and polite and friendly guys.

I could go on, but the consensus in my brain is that I can't remember a canuck I didn't like.

Also, that they tend to drink quite heavily.

When I was a senior in high school I lived in Heidelberg, Germany and we went to an American school there. The local Canadian community was so small that they went to the same school as us. I remember one of the Canadian girls in my class actually knitted me mittens because my hands were always so cold. I still have the mittens!

To be honest....we have the most trouble from our location in Canada than any other around the world. They seem to think their shite doesn't stink.

However...most of the other Canadians I have met in the past have been great people.

I am pleased that you have all had such excellent experiences with Canadians....

I hope I can also have the same effect on everyone when in Vegas...just keep in mind that if I consume alcohol, I do not take responsibility for my actions

I think I'm glad I don't have to make that disclaimer about drinking...
