A car rental

 

A replacement for the Si. Still have it for another ~6 months and can't decide whether to go new or not. It would be pretty sweet not to have any car payments for the first time in...12 years.

 

What are your options?

 

If I went new, I'm thinking along the lines of the Fiesta/Focus ST, the Fiat Abarth. Also considered a CR-Z (pretty sure I could get a rip roaring good deal, but the local dealer doesn't have one to test drive). Something a bit fun, but that I haven't owned before. If I go used I'd want to keep it in the $10k range...which I'm finding really limits things. I still want something *kind of* fun, but also something that's not going to cost a ton to maintain, especially considering I don't have a local trusted mechanic. I've tried to convince myself to just get an 8th gen Civic, or Mazda 3, etc. but so far it's not working.

As I type all of that I realize how spoiled I've been with cars!
