why must we hate the country? It's the government that you should not like. The majority of the populace have nothing to do with their country's policies. Having grown up in a communist country, I will bet you money that most North Koreans hate their leader.

they know what's going on in the outside world. I remember my parents listening to BBC on the radio in the 70's and 80's. You can't legislate radiowaves.
We hated the government but our family participated in all the government activities designed "liberate" our thinking to the socialist ideal. All the time, the people in power behave like Ken Lay. Although we don't believe it, we still go through the motions in the interest of self preservation. We know better.
