if you get the chance.. visit kyoto.. pretty rich in japanese culture (and lots of it is translated so the illiterate people like myself can get a clue on what's going on)
and last but not least... shinkansen (bullet train)

BTW Motoo, I was in Tokyo in June of 2001. Great city. I was there only five days though. I went to the fish market, among other places, and had some excellent sushi there.
