for all you john mayer fans:
check out wisechild.com, my friends band, they open for john mayer occasionally and the bass player plays with john mayer...
my good friend from High School is the violin "fiddle" player and I know the bass player as well as they all went to Berklee School of Music in Boston (near my school). Anyways Columbia music had them come play in their studio but they didn't pick them up..didn't know how to classify their music...but if you like John Mayer you will probably like this...at least give it a shot...
they also tour the east coast and southeast quite a bit...and they are extremely talented musicians...
as for me...I like just about everything...gotta like R. Kelly as he is from the
r/b rap: Nas, DMX, JZ, Tupac, biggie
classic rock: zeppelin, who,
rock: Foo Fighters (saw them last week), cold play
techno: usually get club mixes...the less trancy it is the better
country: limited, "country road" is a good tune, as is "the gambler"
80s: Who doesn't like partying to 80s music, "Culture Club" in NY rocks
Blues/Jazz: I am from Chicago, Buddy Guy and John Coltrane can't go wrong there...
