Yesterday morning there was a murder suicide in the community west of here. I strongly suspect domestic violence: male shot female, then himself.

Hockey great Borje Salming has passed, he died from ALS at age 71. He was a much loved Toronto Maple Leaf. RIP.

Salming was a player that gave it his all every time he stepped on the ice. An awesome player that I will never forget. So glad he was able to see what kind of impact he made in Toronto and the rest of Canada, before it was too late.

I didn't realize he was so close to death, his tribute visit to Toronto a few weeks ago was amazing, glad he could do that before his passing. I know how horrible that disease is, and he could no longer speak, but good for him to see how much he was loved.

They did a nice tribute of Christie McVie on the talk radio show that I listen to. She did have a great voice. R.I.P.
