Both CLK55 models only have the ~350hp normally-aspirated V8. None of them come with the kompressor (~500hp).

Either way, the CLK55 will hand a Civic its ass, and most likely pull away quite easily from an S2000.

At least you kept up though!

 

So the AMG model is not anymore powerful than a non-AMG? It's just sticker mod then?

Ninh, the CLK55 is definitely faster than the CLK500 (or CLK430 of the last generation). But it pales in comparison to the '55 AMG' of the E- and S-Class, which have the supercharged version.

 

I was shown what a new SL55 AMG can do a few days back ....
