Rant II - Things get worse ......
One guy back in Wisconsin had a $600,000 Skater 36... Each motor (it had 2) was about $100,000 and each lower unit was around $50,000. Props were like $4000 each. The boat was capable of 145-150 mph
at which point the only thing in the water was the lower half of the prop and the skeg! Basically the boat was flying!

Yeah, the guy bought the boat to go 150... once... Powerboat tested it, GPS max at 146.5 or something. I've gone 85 in a boat before, and that was pretty damn crazy... I'm not sure 100+ in a boat is anything I want to do
