Right now I'd probably get the Si. A loaded GTI's price starts getting danerously close to an STi's.

right now at that point, i'd say an sti is a good choice... (or an evo, which i'm more of a fan imho)..... i think you're lurking in that pricerange for sure

Right now dangerously close may be a bit overkill. It's still several thousand less.

Right now I haven't driven the EVO but have driven an STi (05'.) Ever since Gran Turismo came out for Playstation and I discovered the WRC (about the same time)I've had my set on a WRX. I almost bought one instead of the S2000.

Right now this likely be a couple years down the road at least. With the house, I don't have any real disposable income anymore like I used to and plans are to run the Chevy into the ground. She's holding up well and I think a couple more years isn't unrealistic. Hopefully by then, Subaru will get the styling on the STi correct. The current model leaves a lot to be desired.

right now it's not that there is a lot to be desired.. it's just ugly..
evo isn't that much better, but i like it more than the sti.


i say stick with the si.. i love that car
