We're going to the Big Island. We've been to Maui 3 times so I'm ready for something new. We're bringing my son and his buddy, so it should be a lot of fun for everyone. Tours of the laval flows at Volcanoes National Park, snorkeling, a luau, fishing, surfing, Kona coffee, etc. Yippee!

Outstanding.

We stayed one night on the west coast, and 2 nights in the Volcano house on the east coast.

Have a blast, red! Sounds fabulous. Screw the Kona, drink Newkies!

Yep, we're doing most of the time on the Kona coast with 2 days/one night in Volcano village at one of the guest houses there. I've heard it's really cool.

And, oh, yes, we'll be drinking lots of or probably more likely, a lot of rum drinks.

:licks lips in anticipation:

I had that thought once, too. I held out for about 2 hours, then ran to the fridge for a nice cold . Working at home has its advantages.
