Really depends on what you wanna do.

I'll say this though: sound is a bitch. You can spend scads on getting the right formats and digital this n' that. . . and the system with cleaner amps and speakers will sound better.

Denon, Marantz, SonyES and Pioneer Elite are all pretty good. . .
