My slap shot goes like 9 mph. I stick to wrist-shots, mostly...

Wisconsin really is a football state. I only knew 2 people growing up that skated, and they had very devoted moms who would cart them to wherever practice was... several rinks have opened up near where I grew up in the last 5-10 years, though, so it seems as though hockey may be catching on.

That's like my slap shot.

Laj, did you see the game.

First period Flyers dominated... at one point they were ahead in Shot on net 11-1... Moligny tried to shoot on net but shot it wide... that's okay though because it goes in of the skate of Flyer's defense. :Sheesh:

Flyers did not dominate through the second; Leafs outshot the Flyers but couldn't make it count.

In the third Eddie held them off for the most part but he must have been tired or something. Eddie let in two more for a 3-1 final.

Somehow watching the game it didn't look like the Leafs were totally outmatched but clearly they were.

Final shots were almost even... Flyers 26 Leafs 23. It's goals that they count though.

Good game but not compelling. A little gooning but not bad. Refs sucked of course... both directions.

If Leafs can get everyone healthy, it'll be a series.. As it stands, Philly is creating too much traffic around the net with their big bodies.. lots of goals off rebounds and deflections.
