to filter into the hallway still when closed. 
I was also thinking about adding a window into mine as well but only if I manage to find one I like.

I have 2 windows that are the olskool frosted type glass so even better for not seeing thru but still allowing light to filter
other bonus it HE will Chalk Paint it for me
at that "antiquated" term.
