I'm thinkin theres waaaaay too many words in here.

 

I'm noting I was on a 2-lane sideroad. My reaction was not to swerve and I'm glad I didn't. I likely would've hit it anyway, and I might've done more damage to the car if I lost control.

 

i'm also remembering when i came off the banking at TWS at about 145mph, in the far outside lane (finally the stupid porsche let me by! ) only to find another porsche (stupid PCA events! ) stopped on the track!

foot to the floor. steering wheel hard left. lift completely and brake HARD. steering wheel hard right. foot to the floor. counter steer the 150mph slide.

sometimes, you gotta swerve.

i'm agreeing. i like to think i can control my car, and thus i'll give it a shot if there's the smallest chance i can avoid hitting the animal. if you know you're going to hit it, might as well...
