yeah i hate bad mp3s!

especially of songs i like. They sound like they are underwater. I gave up on downloads because of the shit quality.

these are like the dark ages for compressed music. Someday, storage will be so amazingly robust, we will be able to store all the music we could want, uncompressed. and not have to worry about shitty sounding music. someday...

I've got over 35k songs. The compression rate isn't too bad as long as you've got hard drives to back the music up. ipods can get messed up, that's just a fact. It'd be a nightmare for me if i lost all/some of my music. So I try to back it all up.
