I actually really think I might go with the 200 if I can find it. I like that thing. and I could later hook up a blackbird or that other gps to it.

i like the looks of the ipod interface, although no way to know if it is teh sUxx0rz until it's in the dash.....

what do you think of this:

I have the front and rear speakers running off the RF, and I also have a pair of tweets in the dash. I'm thinking of running them straight off the HU. The ones I'm looking at don't require so much power.... plus they are in my face. think that'll suffice? I'm thinking it will, unless I'm missing something... which is highly probable.

 

I'd be worried about uniform timbre (between the RF amps and HU), but then it's been well established I know bubkes about car audio.

 

^ Did NOT want to spend a lot on an AMP, but will spend $$$$$ on a headunit.

I dunno...he isnt talking about a huge honking SQ setup to begin with. I think his is mixing speakers brands to boot.

 

I would *hope* the amp and HU wouldn't color the sound so noticeably

I am spending 300 on the RF you bag! and if I spend another 500 for the JL, that would be great, but it still WOULDN"T PLAY PRON !!!!
