I actually had a moment like that where I tried to put in a password that was 6 or 7 letters, for which it said "the password cannot be less than 8 characters"

Then I said fick it, and tried to use my usual 16-letter super-secure password. I then read "the password cannot be longer than 8 characters". wtf.

 

 

my work passwords have to be eight characters long, too...

Oh, and you have to change them every 60 days... and you can't use anything that is remotely the same as what you used within the last eight password changes
