1000000%. Western society is very much focused on not only wanting everything now but feeling entitled to get just that. I'm disheartened by the notion that if we don't get what we want when we want it, society seems to wholeheartedly endorse people going to any lengths to have their "needs" (which are actually wants) met. 
It amazing that more people are not ashamed and completely embarrassed about this kind of thing. It's been suggested to me several times that there are plenty of people who are in fact ashamed, but I don't know.
Are we so incapable of having social relationships that we'd rather choose to let our hearts break instead of fighting?
