I already got a metal scale model for my desk at work (sits next to an AC cobra)...the lego one would definitely kick both their a$$es! Keep us posted!

I probably still have all my legos somewhere in a crate back home....ah memories....

Oh yeah......I was thinking about it and this is going to be pretty tough. I mean, Lego guys can cheat and make special parts for like the headlights and stuff. How big do you think this thing would get?.........can I sit in it? haha

well I put together a drivetrain with 6.8N-m clutch and a 1way differential. High X-bone frame is complete, there's even that bar that sits in the way of the passenger seat. I put the motor for the drivetrain right where the engine would be, behind the front axle. Steering assy is not complete, that is the most complex part of the design. I'll work on that more tomorrow or wednesday.

I went to the store to buy more legos since most of mine are in my parents' attic. They don't make the kits like I had when I was a kid, boy howdy!!! Everything is themed...kids these days have no imagination

Sounds great Josh!

Look forward to hearing more.

I remember the lego in my day's theme was
'this is a box of lego, now use your friggin imagination and do something constructive with it!'

WOW Unabageler! That is a lot of progress for something that's trial and error. I am deeply impressed. You should take pics of the process as you go (if you haven't already) Cool as hell!

I can't wait to see this! You could have one of the lego Pirate guys sitting in the front seat with a bunch of random lego people parts in the trunk...

Awesome. I'm really excited to see this and I was joking about not paying. For the effort it would take to itemize and map out I would seriously pay you for your effort. I really want it.
