What's construx? Never heard of that. K'nex I think came after my childhood. It definitely is fun; I do K'nex with my kids. I think I like it more than Legos now because it's not as "purpose-built" as the latest Lego.

construx was this plastic construction kit that wasn't the most realistic model set on earth (like the purpose-built legos) but allowed you to make some incredible and downright complicted machines once you were hooked on them. I don't see them around anymore, but I think I have some pics of the stuff...I'll look.
