Yeah, that's some kind of leveling device. I've seen some fun attachments for the D9, but those take the cake.

I should post some of the Israeli "house-leveling" D9's Just what I need to keep my neighbors quiet

Are you sure it was a 3516B? Because that engine is designed specifically for non-commercial marine applications... It's supposed to be "quieter."

I drove a Cat 789 mining truck, which is powered by a 3516TA - and I'm not sure there is a real difference. The Cat 785 and 793 has the 3516B, though...
