Looking back at the Chevy Vega today I actually think it was a nice looking car, despite being a shit-box back in the day ? I like the look of it.

Yeah the 4 banger in the Vega was not a good motor but I could get into a V-8 swapped Vega for sure.

How about the Mercury Capri, it was a nice looking car too. In recent times I came across a guy who drives a Chevy Chevette in my home town, and it is in good shape. Surprisingly driving the Chevette in manual tranny version was kind of fun back in the day when I rode in one , very light weight, and despite it being a shit box .

I had two Mercury Capri’s, the first was a 76 with the 4 cylinder and four speed it was the second car I owned when I was 16, I didn’t keep it long but it was a fun car. My buddy had a fox body capri with the 5.0 package he had it hot rodded up and for what he had done to it the thing was a rocket. If he got on the gas the whole front end of the car would just about lift off the ground it was really quick. I bought an 82 Capri with the 5.0 package when I was about 20 and kept it for about four years.

TIL Verstappen has to do community service for swearing in the press conference. If the FIA is taking the moral high ground they should reconsider some of the countries they race in.

TIL that the New Orleans airport (along with dozens of others around the world) participate in a program that supports people with hidden disabilities while they are travelling.
