I don't see why you still think mopeds in Japan are a problem if you've been to where I come from, though.

 

Because I have never had an S2000 to drive in Malaysia !!!! The thing that really pi$$es me off with the mopeds here, is that I get myself in the right lane to blast everyone off at a set of lights, and then some FOCKER !!! on a little 50cc moped comes up my inside and pulls in front of me ! It is then my mission in life to stay as close as is physically possible to the back of his moped until the focker gets out of my way !!!!!

 

Ah. That's a problem in Malaysia sometimes too. Those 50cc things are a real nuisance. However cars are a lot slower in Malaysia, and fast cars make the govt very very rich (up to 300% tax ).

 

Cars are ridiculously expensive in Malaysia though, so those mopeds are the only form of transportation that some people can afford. (well there's public transportation, but those kind of suck).

 

Taxes, Shift knobs and Wedding rings and mopeds!!!! Might be time to move this thread to the rant section !!
