Morning Chazmo

 

Today's been good. I just received a US Patent for one of the things I worked on several years ago. Kinda neat (and a good chunk of change to take the FP out, c/o my illustrious company) Also, I escaped jury duty by the narrowest of margins! (not really)

So, how's tomorrow lookin'?

(Yes, I know... I always ask you that. )

Too bad about the weather out your way. It's been rain-free for almost a week here, though quite hot and humid. Yesterday was a nightmare in the courthouse. There were 90 of us perspective jurors waiting 5 hours for selection. It was oppressive in the room. I was absolutely thrilled to get the heck out of there. The amusing thing is that there were 27 people who actually wanted to be selected for jury.

(if you ask me, they should've been disqualified immediately!!! I'm just glad they did, since it gave me a break!)

 

I think you are right, anyone who WANTS to be on a jury should immediately be disqualified ...... there is obviously something wrong with them !!!
