Had some issues with your Alfa, James!

My dad had a spider veloce in the 70's and it had an oil pan guard. Every time we went over a small road bump... C L A N G!!! Your kidneys (and eardrums) nearly flew out of the car!

Too much! Beautiful sheet metal though...

Well, we'll hire UnaB and Ledfoot to design the buildings. I'm sure we can expect things to be interesting in Cornerville!

I think you should own an Alfa before you buy your S, Jack. That's known as "love by contrast!"

The local garage knew me very well when I had my Alfa ........ I was going to change the break pads ..... went to the local parts supplier, got 4 sets of pads for a 33 1.7 Veloce Cloverleaf 1989 (I think ??) ...... got home, had the car on blocks, took the first wheel off, looked at the pads and thought, "they aren't the same!!" put the wheel back on, went back to the parts shop, complained, they checked it, and said "no, these are definitely the ones specified". In the end I took it to the local garage to get them to do the change, it turns out that my car had the complete break system from the 4 wheel drive version.....

Not content to leave it at that, when I needed a new exhaust, after my previous experience I went to the garage and the had the car up on the ramp, old exhaust off, new one on ...... ooops! It doesn't fit!! Out with the manual, ....... it seems that you have the header and exhaust system for the 1.5i model !!!!!!!

Aparently, at that time, Alfa would just use up parts that they had from a previous production run on the next type, even if they were not the right parts !!!!!

Amazing!!! Some car companies really shouldn't be allowed to stay in business. But, oh, you could have fun with some of their cars!! Just don't expect them work too much.
