Me too, I'm pretty sloppy. Have you done this? this helped me with me rev matching... I started it when I had the BMW. drive along at a normal speed for the street or freeway you are on and shift between the gears without slowing or speeding up. The goal is to maintain the exact same speed while putting the box into whatever gear are available..... so if you're doing 45 mph, you can downshift from 4th to 3rd, back up to 4th, down to 3rd, etc. or 4-3-4-5-4-3-4-5.... whatever. It is quite effective. And you can do it wherever you go.

I'm convinced the s2000 was designed for hyper - active shifters like myself

the key is smooth gear change WITHOUT robbing the tires of power or delivering more to them. This will make you good in no time flat....

 

Hmm...if traffics not bad I might have to start practicing on the drive down to Tacoma.
